3 Steps to Heaven. The best naughty chocolate temptations you can imagine, filled with nuts, dates and peanut butter. Great gift to give to your best friend or grandmother if you do not eat them, on the way out.
To help you through all the steps, I give you images that make it easier to follow the recipe.
Fill in the soft dates, cashews and lemon juice in a food processor and mix well until you get a ball you can divide into small balls approx 10-12 pieces. Freeze them for 20 minutes.
If the peanut butter is too dry soften it in a warm water bath with some coconut oil until it is smooth and easy to coat the date-balls
Cover the date-nut balls with the peanut butter mix and freeze it again for 20 minutes.
Pour the raw cocoa and coconut oil into a saucepan and heat slowly or do it in a hot water bath. Give it a little agave syrup until sweetened. Take a fork and place in the bottom of the ball and turn it around in cocoa oil mix.
- 1 cup of soft dates without stones
- 1 handful salted cashews
- 1/2 a cup very soft and smooth peanut butter
- 4-5 tbs. raw cocoa
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 4-5 tbs. coconut oil
- Agave syrup
- Warm water
- freeze-dried raspberry
- Pour in the soft dates, cashews and lemon juice in the food processor and mix until it turns into a ball. Place it on baking paper as 10-12 small balls and put it in the freezer for approx. 20 min. If the peanut butter is too dry, soften it in a warm water bath with some coconut oil until it is smooth and easy to cover the date-balls. Again place them in the freezer for 20 min. Pour in the raw cocoa and coconut oil in a saucepan and warm it slowly up or warm it up in a hot water bath. Give it just a bit of agave syrup until sweetened. Take a fork and place it in the bottom of the ball and turn it around in the cocoa oil mix. Place it in the freezer and take care you don't eat it before you are going to serve it. Decorate with freeze-dried raspberry
