Creamy and tasteful humus with smoked paprika and roasted sesame. Can be served together with all kinds of veggies and can be added a lots of spices, just give it a chance.
If you want to spice it up a bit, try wasabi sesame seeds or roast the white sesame seeds in chilli powder. I ones tried a different kind of humus with salted whole lemon. It was delicious. Hot chestnuts and humus is a good combination.
As snack it is great to have the veggies you can wrap around the humus.
- 1 can of chickpea, drained
- 1 tbsp. Tahin
- 1 tbsp. Roasted sesame seeds
- 1-2 gloves garlic
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- juice of a lemon
- salt and pepper
- Olive oil
- Mix all the ingredients except lemon and oil in a foodprocessor and blend it well. Add the lemon and a bit of oil, while mixing. Taste and continue to add the lemon juice and oil until you have the right flavor and consistensy as you wish. Mine is always very smooth.
