Mango smoothie or, any other smoothies will always be more fun to eat if you find a creative solution. I found a coconut, I made a groove in the middle of, with a knife and a hole at the top, so that the juice could flow down into a glass. Then I threw it down on the tiles, so the coconut cracked exactly in the groove I had cut.
When I want children and adults to eat more fruit, I have to be very creative. I´m also more fond of fun fruit-contrivance than traditional sliced fruit. It is so much more interesting to try something new.
You can make the coconut-smoothie with all kinds of fruit. This one is made with strawberries and banana.
- 1 mango
- (1/2 banana optional)
- 1 juice from an orange
- 1 handful berries
- 2 passion fruit
- coconut flakes
- Peel the mango and cut the orange in half. Pour the mango pieces into a blender with the juice from the orange. Blend well until it is smooth with no lumps. If you want a thicker consistency, add half a banana into slices.
- Take a half coconut or two and add the mango smoothie. Decorate with berries, passion fruit, nuts and coconut flakes.
